From September 1 to 7, 2025, Seoul Fashion Week will take over the city, staging shows across iconic sites and at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).
Marking its 25th anniversary, Seoul Fashion Week turns the city itself into a runway. This season, the shows extend beyond DDP to Deoksugung-gil, Oil Tank Culture Park, and Heungcheonsa. Alongside the runways, programming sharpens its global networking focus and experiments with AI-driven innovation, offering a layered glimpse into both the present and the future of K-fashion.
Beyond Deoksugung-gil, 27 Korean designer brands, spanning 18 runway shows and 9 presentations, will take over Seoul’s signature landmarks, from the revitalized Oil Tank Culture Park and the serene Heungcheonsa to the Mondrian Hotel and DDP Art Hall. The program extends further with fashion presentations at the DDP Design Lab, Seongsu’s EQL flagship, and designers’ own showrooms.
The season also marks the debut of Berlin Showroom at Seoul Fashion Week, curated by Berlin Fashion Week and positioned as an emblem of international exchange. 12 Berlin-based emerging brands Sia Arinka, Lueder, Ballet-Shofer, Haderlump, Richert Beil, Gerrit Jacob, Dawn, Clara Colette Miramon, Unvain Studios, William Fan, Danny Reinke, and Isabella Rudzki will showcase in Korea for the first time.
Staged from September 2 to 3 at the MCM showroom in Gangnam, the presentation highlights sustainability, traditional aesthetics, and material innovation. The Seoul Metropolitan Government sees this collaboration as more than a showcase; it’s a chance to broaden content and deepen global ties, sharpening K-fashion’s edge on the international stage.
Marking its 25th anniversary, Seoul Fashion Week will also host a celebratory networking party at Seongsu’s EQL. Sponsored by 1664 Blanc and hosted by InTrend ceo Yun-kee Jeong, the SFW Party will draw designers, buyers, media, and influencers alike, turning the venue into a vibrant crossroads of fashion and culture.
Running from September 4 to 6, Seoul Fashion Week powers up its B2B platform with a trade show spotlighting 74 brands alongside 20 showroom tours. At DDP Design Lab, three full floors will transform into brand booths, while across Seongsu, Han-nam, and Gangnam, buyers will enter designer showrooms for intimate, one-to-one consultations. Ahead of the program, the Seoul Metropolitan Government has handpicked 102 powerhouse buyers from 22 countries.
At DDP Design Lab, 74 brand booths will be joined by four multi-brand agencies, including Ideal People, Agency Wil, Weconstruct × Missphase, and Future Society, broadening the roster and reinforcing Seoul’s ambition to strengthen its foothold in the global market. More than 20 showroom tours will bring buyers into Seoul’s most dynamic fashion districts, Seongsu, Hannam, and Gangnam. Emerging labels such as No Manual, Marhen. J, Stand Oil, Young N Sang, Xlim are among those opening their doors, offering direct engagement with the city’s new wave of creative talent.
The Seoul Fashion Road project returns with its second project, “Second Skin: Fashion, AI, and Light.” Staged from September 2 to 7 for 6 days, the exhibition brings together works by emerging designers who reinterpret fashion narratives through AI, light, and sound. Set in a repurposed underground space near Exit 10 of Sindang Station, the immersive showcase blurs the boundaries between design and technology.
